We’ve updated our fundraising approach for the upcoming year to take advantage of a number of new options that have become available.  Take a quick look at the available options, including some limited-time opportunities.  Or, if you want to get more deeply involved, there are some active opportunities available for students.  Additionally, we’re happy to report that Beeworks and Clean Rivers have made some great progress over the past year.  These are our Greenworks spin-off projects in Brazil and Ukraine, respectively.  You can read all about them on their new dedicated pages!

Fundraising Options

Are you looking to support Science Voices in the important work we’re doing on science education?  If so, take a closer look at the following options!

March 25 – March 28

During this GlobalGiving campaign, all donations of $50 or less will be matched at 50%!  That means a $50 donation becomes $75, and even a $10 donation becomes $15.  This year, we are aiming to fundraising for the Greenworks spin-off projects to help support them in 2026.

Until June 30

Why not treat yourself to a donut?  And while doing so, help support Science Voices?  Through GroupRaise, when you buy a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for $15, we’ll receive $7.50, all the way until June 30th.  It’s a fun way to support a cause you believe in!

Ongoing

With MyGivingCircle, you can vote, donate, and help us win grants!  Even if you can’t support us financially, you can vote for us every week and help us win grants that support our work.  If you donate, each dollar donate counts as a vote as well!  Use these links to help us save on processing fees as well:

Student Opportunities

Are you looking to make a bigger contribution to Science Voices?  Check out two opportunities we have for students to get involved.  First is a paid internship to work on Agavi, available to Brazilian students, as we will be working to deploy our first test projects in Agavi in concert with the Beeworks program.  Additionally, apply for a three-month internship through the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science Young Scientist Program.  In addition to working on Science Voices projects, you’ll complete the BMSIS YSP curriculum, which teaches about science communication, ethics in science research, and much more between June and August.  The Agavi internship opportunity closes March 31st, while BMSIS Young Scientist Program closes April 11th.  Complete your application today!

Explore the Greenworks Projects!

Both of the successful Greenworks 2024 Cohort projects now have dedicated pages that provides details about each project, how it is progressing, and photos of the sites, people involved, and the work that’s been done.  The pages will be regularly updated as the projects continue to develop through 2025 and beyond!
